Security & Data Protection
Designed to Minimize Risk
A core design principle of Tapelligence is that the platform does not rely on customer personal data to operate. Most interactions — such as taps, service events, and workflow tracking — are handled using operational and anonymous information. This approach significantly reduces privacy exposure and helps organizations manage risk more effectively.
In limited situations, basic contact information may be stored only when it is voluntarily provided and necessary for a specific purpose, such as delivering a staff incentive or responding to a service recovery request.
What We Do Not Store
Tapelligence does not collect or store sensitive financial or medical information. We do not store:
Security Controls
All connections to the Tapelligence platform are encrypted using secure HTTPS technology. Access to the system is controlled through secure login credentials and role-based permissions, ensuring users can only access information appropriate to their role.
The system maintains a detailed activity history (audit log) of key actions, including logins, changes to records, and incentive or voucher activity. This provides transparency, accountability, and a verifiable record of operational activity.
Additional safeguards include protection against repeated login attempts, automatic session timeouts, and secure password storage using industry-standard encryption methods.
Accountability and Operational Transparency
Tapelligence is designed to create a clear and reliable record of operational activity. Audit logs and system records help organizations demonstrate compliance, resolve disputes, and support insurance or legal documentation when required.
Infrastructure Protection
Core infrastructure protections — including encrypted storage, automated backups, and system monitoring — are managed at the hosting level by our cloud provider using modern enterprise security practices. These protections are regularly reviewed as part of our ongoing security verification process.
